We don’t always start from scratch. Sometimes, all a brand needs is a glow up. That was the task that husband-and-wife duo Chris Waters and Marina Hadjioannou Waters entrusted to us for LUNA Language Services, a translation and interpretation services company.
While LUNA speaks more than 200 different languages for clients ranging from hospitals to courts to corporations, they needed help speaking the language that would resonate most with those customers.
Right away, their culture, diversity, and team’s personalities set them apart from the more reserved nature of many of their competitors. We let that human side of LUNA shine through, positioning them as the ones who understand that language is nuanced, understanding is critical, and connection comes from conversation.
Showcasing their culture and diversity in a way that was fun and unforgettable, we produced a brand video featuring handmade puppets voiced by real LUNA employees. We complemented this playful approach with a polished visual identity, crisp collateral, and a robust new website tailored to the varied needs of the wide industries they serve with incisive messaging, to boot.
The resulting brand did not just reflect who LUNA is; it positioned them up for growth, setting them up for a successful exit. After the rebrand, LUNA attracted the attention of a strategic buyer and is now part of the GLOBO brand family (helloglobo.com).
